I build reliable systems and make them safer.

I'm a computer science student focused on cybersecurity, with two years of experience as an IT technician and earlier internships in system administration and media IT. I have supported users, maintained networks, managed access, and worked with teams that depend on technology every day.

My projects let me put that experience into practice: designing segmented networks, building small security tools, and developing a lab where I can test how systems behave. I care about clear documentation and practical solutions as much as the technology behind them.

I am continuing my studies in California and working toward a career in security and infrastructure. I want to help organizations keep essential systems dependable and protect the people who rely on them.

AEGIS Enterprise Cyber Range

A private practice network where I can safely learn how an organization manages computers and access. The Windows Server domain and joined workstation are working; firewall and security monitoring integrations are next.

  • Set up Active Directory, DNS, users, groups, and Group Policy in a Windows Server lab.
  • Joined a Windows workstation to the domain and tested account and policy management.
  • Planning OPNsense, Splunk, and Wazuh integration for future network and event monitoring exercises.
Current stage The domain and workstation are configured. Firewall, telemetry, and detection work remain in progress.

ARES-1 Mars Colony Cyber Defense

A simulated network for a Mars research colony. I separated critical life-support controls from other traffic and tested rules that block unauthorized access without interrupting approved communication.

  • Divided rover, research, telemetry, control, and life-support traffic into separate virtual networks.
  • Used access rules and switch-port security to protect a simulated oxygen controller.
  • Tested that unauthorized routes were blocked while approved paths still worked.

Python Network Security Toolkit

A set of Python command-line checks for common security questions: which ports are open, whether a website sends useful security headers, and whether login logs look unusual.

  • Checks network ports, service banners, HTTP headers, password hashes, and authentication logs.
  • Keeps each check separate so a user can run only the one needed.
  • Includes automated tests for parsing and core behavior.

A two-campus network simulation showing how departments can share services while keeping their traffic organized. I tested connections within each campus and between the two sites.

  • Separated departments with virtual networks and routed traffic between them.
  • Configured address assignment, internal services, and routing between campuses.
  • Tested local and cross-campus connectivity in Cisco Packet Tracer.

A completed first prototype for a visual workspace that presents network designs. It explores how infrastructure diagrams could be easier to browse; broader design and collaboration features remain ideas for later work.
